Hi Doug: Yes, there was an Tamron Adaptall adapter for Leica SL (the end cap marked as FOR LEICA-SL), but was discontinued before 1979 (the year Adaptall-2 was introduced), the Adaptall-2 mount is marked for R4 (215C), I used it on both my R3 and R4, they work fine.
