Way, way back... on 08/09/2005 Bille Xavier F. asked: >BTW, Where to Order Ted Grant's Books? Good Mornin' Xavier! Sorry that I didn't respond to this earlier, but I've been out of town for= ten days... helping a friend turn a small closet into an even smaller= en-suite bathroom. :-) You asked about ordering Ted's Books. Did you write Ted, directly? He sells (or, at least, has sold) autographed= copies at the same price as regular ones... though he'll likely charge you= a bit for shipping, to France. (Surface mail, shouldn't be too bad.) I'm= pretty sure he still has copies of "Women in Medicine" available... he may= still have "Doctor's Work", as well. Email him at: tedgrant@xxxxxxx Otherwise, I'm sure any large on-line bookseller will be able to provide= you with new copies. Used copies can be found at ABE.com. You might also wish to find a used copy of his first book.... "Men of the= Saddle - Working Cowboys of Western Canada" - also sold as "Men of the= Saddle - Working Cowbooys of North America", which was it's title when= sold in the US. It's long out of print and not as slickly produced as the= later two, but it has some very nice photos. Besides, the text is by Andy= Russell; whom, it turns out, is an acquiantance of Rose's! Fairly= innexpensive though ABE.com. Cheers! David Young, Logan Lake, BC CANADA.
