Looks like you have a permanent spot on that turn. And you make great
use of it.
Did you think of switching to manual focus and just wait for them to get
to the mark?
No snow here in Yakima yet ,but they say it is on the way. About time.

I spent my day at Stake Lake, as promised. Conditions were a bit rough, with moderate to
heavy snowfall and a "mild" -26C (-15 Fahrenheit, for those in the USA) that
never varied. At least there was only a light breeze.
Here, in Logan Lake, as I write at 10PM, it is a much warmer -23.4C. (All
things are relative.)
Most of today's shots can be described as unmitigated disasters, because of
failed AF.
But, sometimes we get lucky.
