Aram: I suspect you are right. I had to wait some time, before I could get
shots without people. but not a one stopped or even glanced. They just walked
past, looking for their gate.
According to the wikipedia, in 2018, some 211,000 passengers went through
Schiphol every day. And I have no idea how long those doors have been there!
They were just plain weird!

I should have added that only a keen eye would have seen this. Hundreds------
of thousands pair have pass by and probably not paid any mind.

What I've not figured out is where you exit to or why you'd need to
keep it clear.
Y'see, these doors are in the middle of a hallway ... and only lead to
the other side of the doors!
