The words of recent LeicaReflex reviews registree Dennis Quong come to mind: "The ability to compose something rather than produce something" (quoted with permission). No matter what other features the camera has, if I can't see and focus clearly on every part of the viewscreen I'm missing part of the composition. The SL has "it". For production I look for fast frame rates and quick automatic functions. For composition I use the SL. Cangratulations Steve I hope the SL will become a valuable part of your photographic tool set. -- Doug Herr Birdman of Sacramento http://www.wildlightphoto.com on 10/30/05 11:51 AM, Steve Barbour at kididdoc@xxxxxxx wrote: > I bought an SL body... after being blown away by the big, well > illuminated viewfinder Doug...your words came back to me... > > > Steve > > > On Oct 30, 2005, at 12:03 PM, Douglas Herr wrote: > >> on 10/30/05 10:57 AM, Steve Barbour at kididdoc@xxxxxxx wrote: >> >> >>> On the Leicaflex SL where is the light meter reading taken from? >>> >> >> The meter reading is taken from the central microprism area. >> >> >>> Also David what is your site url please?
