David and all Friends, the Cluster project may actally be a very good starting point in order to creat a R & D environment of mutual help, not just in the R & D but even industrial, (indirectly) financial and probably able to re-create a good tech and self proud feeling in the land of Leitz. Why not come back to Leitz name? I bet someone is thinking about it. And I agree. ABout cameras: yes, some months ago I started to think about a digital camera, but I still use analog M and R 4. I realized I am not able to buy other brands (because Leica lens quality, for my taste, is far higher) and DMR + R9 was too much expensive (and weight) for me. I have to admit that I now wondering about an M3 made in 1955, but I cannot find a way to realize the exact date of birth (or production) of an M3. Do you think I need therapy?
