Looking at that image, I suspect the processing, whenever I've had an
emulsion scratch like that, it's been perfectly horizontal. (Typically
it would be due to something hard stuck in the felt light trap in the
cassette.) I haven't had any scratch problems with the Standard, SL,
M2, M4 or IIIF bodies. I've never had an R body.
