[LRflex] R lens to Minolta SLR body

Hi everyone,
My first camera I bought was a Minolta Maxxum 9 with a vertical grip. I
found it super wonderful. The view finder is much brighter than EOS1V and
Nikon F5. Exposure meter is simple but accurate. It can shoot
5.5fpswithout the aid of any power booster.
I'd heard that Minolta helps to design and even make Leica R lenses. Is it
true? Which models are they?
If there is any mount adaptor that can fit R lens to Minolta SLR auto body??
