Yes, less. Vignetting issues get easier to avoid. Think about the cone of light and how the smaller sensor could be affected . or Think about an 11x14 camera and lens, then switch the same lens to a Minox camera body.... On an M8, using the front end UV/IR filters, there are issues....but that is not what you are trying to accomplish. OTOH, focus plane location is more critical on any Digi-Camera..... but that gets worse with longer lenses rather than worse with wider lenses. As Dr. Ted says..... &*%$&^ the techie stuff, go take pictures..... Frank Filippone red735i@xxxxxxxxxxxxx I'm thinking about getting a 35mm Summilux or Summicron R but also thinking about using it on my Sigma, 1.7x crop and/or four thirds, 2.0x crop. My question is, are there added/different problems on smaller than FF sensors using wider angle lenses than mounting something like a 50mm or 90mm lens?
