Philippe, Try this : http://www.photoshop-tutorials-plus.com/panoramas . Manfrotto have a "MICRO POSITIONING PLATE", ref.# 454 that sells for less than 100,00 Euro. Also an "ELBOW BRACKET", ref. # 340, to change from a horizontal to vertical camera shooting position. See also their PAN HEAD ref. # 303, and their PRECISION PAN HEAD ref. # 303 PLUS. But, looking at the way they are built, they must cost a fortune ! Personnally, I am using a second-hand, Minolta, rack and pinion mechanism , that is in fact the lower section of a macro bellows. It performs the job of moving the camera up to the lens' nodal point. I mount it on a Nikon panoramic rotation unit. All the best from (chilly) Brussels ! I'll try to stitch before anything else as suggested, and I'm looking for a device to adjust the camera on a tripod that allows for fine centering of the focal point of the lens. Any suggestion welcome of course. Thanks again. Bien cordialement de Metz Phili^^e Philippe AMARD wrote: Not a patch on Howards', but I liked the idea. http://tinyurl.com/bgukat C&C welcome as usual.
