Beautiful image but for me it brings to mind a sad event. That evening a few
years ago had the same knife edge crescent moon when we learned that John F.
Kennedy died while flying his plane from Boston to Martha’s Vineyard. It was a
clear sky but he evidently flew into a fog bank over the water (not uncommon in
the fall) and did not believe his plane’s level indicator and crashed into the
bay, killing all. It was sad because he had so much promise. Sincerely, George

Took the Nikon D500 and the 300mm f4.0 PF to the Otter Bay Ferry terminal.
The eagles were very active and in about 70 minutes I shot just
over 700 pictures. Picture details 1/2000 f8.0 auto ISO. Continuous AF, hand
held. The back light was tough.
