Good tip, Ted! And one you *had* passed on to me and one which (amazingly)
I'd remembered.

However, when I took the shot, I was about 150 feet away (400mm eFL lens)
and with all the folks talking, there was no chance I'd be heard. So....

Curiously. it was shots 3 & 4 that Rose liked the best.

David.

Now that's what one calls a Mighty fine "HAPPY SNAP SMILING YOUNG LADY!"
:-)

However? Maybe a wee bit of a hint? Only because the young lady is so

happily smiling!

But the horse???? Next time, just as you are about to go click?
"WHISTLE!"

Horses EARS will perk right up and horse illustrates it's beauty of head,

face and ears! :-)

You are welcome David, :-) I thought I had passed that one onto you???
-)

cheers,

ted

Good Morning, Ted!

Thanks for your kind words. It was fun!

The young lad in the photo seemed enamored with the snow. To the point

where, just after the shot was taken, he went and filled his hat with

snow... and then put it back on his head!

Because it is a horse club, we also had carrots for the kids .... well,
for

the horses.

Here's one young lady, in action....

And these are the reasons they came...

We gave away the marshmallows, but the hot-dogs & hot chocolate were by

donation, with 100% of the proceeds going to a trust fund for the

"after-care", of a local lady scheduled for a liver transplant.

It was a successful afternoon, but Rose, who did the lion's share of the

work, is exhausted. I'll get her up, at the crack of noon. ;-)

Well

done David! That sure is a great little town you live in! It always has

great

"community events for all who live there!" And an absolutely

wonderful welcoming for visitors from all over the world!

cheers,

Dr.
