I don't think it works as well, because there is too much of the chain link
fence (sight lines for photographers are lousy at the Merritt Speedway) and too
much empty dirt, but your mileage may vary. Widening the view further simply
brings in light & timing stands, and a lot more dirt track.
I'm now curious to hear the different 'takes' people have on this. Everyone?

Nice shot, David. Is it too late and would it be too much trouble to see------
the image at about ½ of the original frame? I'm wondering how
differently more of the original frame would convey the story of "No
Brakes!" :)
