Eric offered: >http://gallery.leica-users.org/For-the-Birds/39_18_Sunbird_Taking_Off I much prefer this, to the others, Eric, as I'm not a fan of deliberately blurred backgrounds. Usually, the OOF blur induced by the lens is enough, and yields a much smoother "bokeh". That being said, I also liked http://gallery.leica-users.org/For-the-Birds/33_15_Sunbird_Flight_Crop because of the clarity of your subject. I know, all too well, the difficulties of catching a hummer in flight, with a manual focus lens! You're off to a great start! As Doug said... if you decide to pursue this line of photography, a 400 or even a 400 with 2x converter would be a great addition to your kit.
