A few comments, from around the Web, regarding the 800 mm Telyt-S.

Some users report that the lens needs two tripods, for stability!

As far as information goes, there's lots on the net.  Photos of the 
beast seem harder to find!

BTW:  One sold, April, 2007 for US$3,200 ... see lot 44, 
http://www.jenack.com/viewauction.aspx?a=175

Frankly, for that kind of money, I think you'd be a lot better off 
with the 180 Summicron and a couple of converters!

But, if your shop owner gives you the chance, please do shoot some 
film and post the results.  I'll bet I'm not the only one who's curious!
