Xavier:

Can't speak to the lenses, I too have the Canadian 90mm-R and I also misunderstand the law of supply and demand as it applies to Leica stuff.

BUT! I'm looking forward to seeing your Grand Prix shots... don't let us down! :-)

Hi there,

I strolled around Paris, starting with the Boulevard de la Photo. In a shop, they offered the "new" version of the summicron and an older version (the one built in Canada, Ontario).

I have a Canadian Version and it delivers very good results, I was wondering if the newer mechanical construction had an enhanced set of optcs.

Any inputs?

Both versions were of equivalent prices. The shop owner was saying it was hard to sale these days (question, why prices are so high then, I misunderstood the law of supply and demand ?...)

Tomorrow, I'll go to the grand Prix Moto France, in le Mans, R7+35 and 90mm, B&W agfa film, we'll see.

Cheers.
