Don't worry. By definition, the occultation of Mars means you can't see it, so you missed not seeing anything. I miss that at least 10 times every day.

Well, don't hold your breath, Peter, for the next one. It's our one and only, for this year, though folks outside North America have a chance of 4 more, this year.

Your reason for being out early is equally, if not more, valid than mine!

For those who don't know what a lunar occulation is, read this:

David.

The "Lunar Occultation"... If I ask what that is, does that give away that
I did not catch it here in south-central Florida? :) Just kidding,
actually I was out for another primary reason checking on orange
harvesting equipment before the crews show up and I looked, but local
ground fog blocked me out. I have yet to see one in real-time.

Best regards,
Peter S

Did anyone manage to catch the Lunar occultation of Mars, this morning?

I tried, but was clouded out.

David.
