Don't worry. By definition, the occultation of Mars means you can't see it,
so you missed not seeing anything. I miss that at least 10 times every day.

I did not catch it here in south-central Florida? :) Just kidding,
actually I was out for another primary reason checking on orange
harvesting equipment before the crews show up and I looked, but local
ground fog blocked me out. I have yet to see one in real-time.
