Flavio, Philippe,

you missed the BEST part - the County of Yorkshire - mountains (at least very high hills :-) ) rolling plains, high cliffs and long beaches on the coast, the best beers in the UK.

The landscapes vary from wild and desolate to luxuriant green.

Historical cities like York, where Constantine was devlared Emperor in AD 306.

Many castles, monasteries, cathedrals.

Home of the Bronte sisters, Captain Cook and Dracula (yes, Yorkshire, not Transylvania - the story starts in the coastal town of Whitby)

The birthplace of the industrial revolution and the railways.
