I contacted the company a while back when the SD1 was introduced and at the
time they said they saw no reason why their conversion would not work and
they were indeed planning on offering that service for the SD1 when it was
released. I have since bought a Nikon D7000, so I doubt I will be in the
market, but who knows if the performance is as good as it theoretically
could be....
