A few days ago, Corporal Bell, from the Logan Lake detachment of the Roman
Catholic Members of Parliament (RCMP) was out on the Tunkwa Lake road,
when he came across an eagle with a broken wing.
He managed to catch the bird and brought it back to the station, where it
spent the night in a cell.
The next day, he took the bird to the Kamloops Wildlife Park, where the
eagle will have it's wing repaired and then be released back into the
wild.
It's a nice story ... and one that gives new meaning to the term "Jail-bird"!
