Bill,

Ted would simply say, I sense - get out and shoot ;-)

I've had a digicam for three years or so - and haven't either known or cared about the AAor IF filters ... Did I have an AA filter on the Focaix, the Retinetix, the Pentax Spotmatix, the Nikonix, the OM2nix, the Contaxix, the Canonix? the R3x? the R4x? the R8xxl? forgot about it all :-D
Shoot, edit, and share, this is my new motto.

Oh yes, my latest PAWs start here

(last one probably better printed large)

Bien amicalement

And my thanks all of you. I feel as if I just came from a graduate seminar on the finer points of digital photography, which this list always seems to me to be.

All the best,

Bill

Thank you David for your comprehensive answer.

I would like to add that according to the dpreview, only the Panasonic cameras have relatively weak AA filter, even compared to the Olympus.

Perhaps, Miha... but the Oly AA filter is visibly less strong than the Canon AA filters. I'd prefer no AA filter, but, sadly, the choice is not mine.

Cheers!
