Hello Richard, Yes the 5 degree rotation uncertainty was indeed of the focus ring. I guess there is a good chance, reading all the comments, that the 5D I used in the store was out of alignment. I suppose when (if) I get one I shall have to test the focus pretty thoroughly. Others have commented on alternative screens too, thanks. Regards, Akhil.
