Greg Lorenzo amazed: >I'm surprised to learn that Victoria has a RR Dealership. You wouldn't >think the small population there would be enogh to support it. -------------- Population, no. But Victoria has the hightest concentration of millionaires= per 100,000 population in Canada, and (or at least, it used to be) the= second hightest in North America. It's the money that does it! When I ran my shop, I could count at least 22 customers that drove RR's= that I knew about. Long ago, I even got to borrow one for a "spin around= the block". Their advertising campaign that "at 60MPH the loudest sound= you hear is the ticking of the clock" is true.. at least at town speeds.= Very nice. To be fair, the Victoria dealership is a small place that repairs and= sells, but does not stock. They sell few enough that it doesn't warrant= stocking cars. I understand, however, that they do a fairly good trade in= them. Hey! Victoria has but one Leica dealership and they both operate the same= way. No stock. Cheers! David Young, Logan Lake, BC CANADA.
