I entirely agree..I own them.
and the the R 6 7 cameras are smaller and most feeling like an M among the R series...esp the R 6 and 6.2 are sturdy and mechanical...

Steve I have an SL, R3 and R4 but the different shape of the R8 appeals to me and I've heard good things about it.
