Over the years, I've converted a number of old cases, to new life... custom fitting them to the equipment at hand. Fellow flexer, Alex Hurst, will remember the heavily customized, tan leather, Hasselblad case, in which I brought and R5 & R6 + lenses to Ireland, many years ago. Over the last week, or so, I've done another one. And, in response to a number of requests to show how it's done, I've written a little, illustrated blog about it. The advantages, besides re-using an old case, is that when done, not only does it hold more, more readily accessible but, from the outside, it does not look like it holds equipment of much value. This can be a huge advantage, when touring in third world countries, or even in some neighbourhoods, at home!
