Hi Alex, Andy, David, Linda, and the rest of the Leica Reflex List;

First off, let me say that coming from the level of photographers I've seen here, any praise is high praise indeed! Most of the flickr shots are happy snaps destined for grandparents' bragging rights, but I will add that follow-focus on an active toddler has sharpened my focussing skills immensely over the past year.

Ah, you're _that_ Mike Liu! When I acquired my
first very battered but functional Nikon FTn
back in the '90s, I found your website very
useful to clarify more arcane points of Nikon
use. Many thanks. Up to then I'd been a Leica
man - still am for that matter, but my Nikons
have bred like rabbits in the meantime.

I found myself in possession of a small library of Nikon technical information and figured that no one at Nikon corporate would mind if I released it to the Internet -- since then, loads more information and prettier sites out there, but I'm always happy to note that folks are still finding it useful (this, despite never touching a metered F, ironically).

Cheers,
Mike
