The one thing that really struck me in Romania, Bulgaria & Serbia is that you
very rarely see PDA's (Public Displays of Affection - hand-holding, kissing,
etc.). They seem a dour bunch, whom you seldom see smiling in public.
I had to move fast for this young couple and I missed the focus. But I still
like the shot, for it's expressions.
She (note the firm grip she has on him) is smiling like the cat that got the
canary. He, on the other hand, looks as he's terrified that one of his
buddies might actually see him "committing affection".
