Hi Troy,

I have no idea what your friend considers "affordable;"
as that's quite a relative term.

My 35, 50 and 80 R Summilux's render gorgeous images;
as do my 35 and 50 Summicron's.

The 100 Apo Macro Elmarit is often sold at bargain prices
(considering its quality).

For sharp 'n' creamy the 65 and 135 Elmar's for Visoflex
can be used on R mounts with proper M to R mount.
While a bit slow both provide macro through infinity possibilities
with proper focusing mounts.
The 135 Elmar can be had for $100 or less.
