I woke up this morning to compose an e-mail I send to my friends on Dec 8
to commemorate the death of John Lennon. Instead I got a phone call from my
sister telling me my dad had just died. I had just gone over to see him 3
days ago and took this photo.

About 3 weeks earlier I visited and took them out to lunch at Ivar’s Salmon
House and took these.

I am thankful I was able to see him twice in such a short time before today,
and I am thankful I took these photos. Not that I will need them to remind
me of him, but they will always be nice to look at and remember….
