I made the acquaintance of the Le Tourneau.

Think of it as a Bobcat, on steroids.

With it's modest 2300 HP engine, and a bucket that will load a 240 tonne truck 
in just three scoops, it is a massive machine.  

Another grab shot, but against the light, so not so good.  But, I had to show 
it, just for it's sheer size.

Tires, btw, are a very reasonable $100,000 each!  Chains, to improve traction 
are mere $50,000 pr!
