I bought a Vivitar 500/8 at a yard sale for $25 and used it a bit.  Had T 
mount, so used T to Leica R adapter.  Worked from a technical point of view. 
Terribly soft pictures, however.  Used it for fun a few times then got rid 
of it.  But it was a fun experiment.
