My wife just gave me a book she ordered off the Internet entitled, Making KODAK Film: The Illustrated Story of State-of-the-Art Photographic Film Manufacturing, by Robert L. Shanebrook, a long-time Kodak employee who retired several years ago. I don't know what she paid for it, but the book is excellent, a must-have for devotees of film. The colour pictures are superb and in just skimming the text, I can see it is a really detailed work. I'm not sure what Web site my wife went to in order to order the book, but the author's e-mail address is <makingkodakfilm@xxxxxxxxx>. I'm sure if you Google it, you can locate the Web site offering copies for sale. According to my wife, she read that the press run is very limited, so the book--94 pages in perfect-bound 8½- x 11-in softcover format--will be available for a limited time. For a film junkie, it is one helluva book! Jeff Glück ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/
