It's a miracle that your M8 turned up, anyway! I don't know whether to
say 'congratulations' or 'commiserations' again!! ;-) I do hope you
addressed it 'for the PERSONAL attention of Mr S Lee'...? No...? damn!!

Alex - did you return all 8 M8s together, or in sequence? :-D By the
8th, I think I would have returned it filled with Semtex and a trip
switch!!! ;-) But, hey, since you are in Ireland, EU consumer law
applies! You could have taken it (them) back to the shop and demanded
your money back, and compensation for other out-of-pocket expenses, like
being left with useless lenses.... I know we all want to be loyal to
Leica, but 8 faulty ones? That's stretching loyalty to breaking point,
isn't it? However, a (mischievous) thought: it wasn't because you were
having trouble getting the film to go in, was it....? :-D :-D :-D
Whatever, let's hope that Howard achieves a satisfactory result.
