David,
Nice and vivid portrait, this crew seem very welvcoming and at ease with the
photograph.

All:
On Friday, we had the opportunity to do what few civilians ever see. We spent 6 hours aboard a working tug of the Royal Canadian Navy.
We (well, the crew) moved a crane-barge across the harbour and, later, back again. We helped the HMCS Algonquin set sail for a week long 'exercise' and move HMCS Calgary from F (for Fuel) Jetty to her normal moorings.
In between, the crew gave us tours of the ship, and a tour of Victoria harbour from vantage points never seen before!
Regrettably, it was a gray day, with gray ships on gray water... so the photos are not inspiring... however a few that I liked can be seen at: http://www.horizon.bc.ca/~dnr and click on "A day on a Tug" at the left.
Comments, constructive criticisms welcome.
Thanks for looking.
David.
