Both shots from the same spot. I agree there is a difference in colour
rendering - perhaps a function of the age of the 40mm.

Good morning, Howard. Did you change position from one shot to another, or is
it just the increased mm-power between the lens that “enlarges” your friend? It
may be a function of my monitor, but I see more of a blue-cast over the entire
image from the 40mm as compared to the 35mm. Both certainly perform well, but
i’m with you in thinking that the modified 40mm works just fine.
