Actually if LEICA would make LEICA cameras so we could still afford? Instead of
these way beyond prices most of us honest working
photographers/photojournalists can't afford, it would be wonderful and they'd
sell like "hotcake LEICA's!!!!!!!!"
Oh no their weak minded executives just want to give them as freebies to the
Royal's and movie stars in attempting to make it look like they are still the
hot cameras of the world of photojournalists.
Guess what? Their techie designers have completely over built/over cost what at
one time was the camera? Or cameras of the world's photojournalists and happy
snappers.
My 65 year career as a world travelling "assigned photojournalist" was built
around the use of 3 M cameras and 3 motor driven SLR's always in my camera
bags. Or depending on the assignment all 6 of them on my neck/chest & shoulders.

Subject: [LRflex] Leica, time to watch?
Good Day Flexers
It seems that Leica has decided to broaden their activities.
The article is in french:
https://www.montres-de-luxe.com/Leica-se-lance-dans-la-mesure-du-temps_a13889.html
Leica is launching the L1 and L2 (what an original name…) at a price of a
little less than 10k€.
If the label "German Made" is sought after, here a specific model built for me
according to my specification and at a tiny fraction of the L1 or L2, although
it is mechanical too:

Ah the traditional "wrist shot".....
Enjoy, cheers!
