If you are going to use film, and you do not mind the camera weighing a lot ( 
use a tripod and you won't care).....

Given the current costs of MF cameras, and specifically Hasselblad, this is the 
time to take advantage of some of the worlds' best glass at bargain prices.

You can and will for the forseeable future, be able to source B+W and color Neg 
and Transparency films....

Processing IS the issue, but if you have a darkroom already, that goes away....

Printing will require either a scanner ( Flatbed works and is pretty cheap) or 
spending money on someone to do the scans for you.... not a real problem.....
or
You already own an enlarger, etc.....

Take the plunge..... the biggest difference to Leica ( either R or M) is the 
weight and bulk....  As Dog pointed out, the MF cameras ( in most cases) were 
made to be used ( primarily) on tripods.  The upside of that is the technical 
quality you record on film....
