[LRFlex] Leica R8 and SF20 question

Here's a copy of a message to the Leica (not SLR) forum.
I'd add to it by seeking the location of any specific directions for using this
combination. I've found none in print.

Need some help here. I've tried using my SF20 flash on TTL on my Leica R8.
In "P" mode, the camera wants to fire the flash at 1/250th sec, no matter
what kind of lighting I'm in. What am I doing wrong? Is this a default
setting?
