Art,

I don't want to sound bad but the decline of the film is faster than expected.

No sweat though, the 135 format film will be available like the medium format is, only it will cost a little more.
And probably they will retain the best film available and raise the prices.

What really pissies me off with the Digital world is the inability to choose your type of film. I mean they could have devolopped filters in the camera that record grainy picture (like tri X or Tmax3200) or oversaturated like Velvia 50.

Of course you could do that later on with photoshop.

But it would be much better to download in your camera the parameters that would create the type of medium.

While developping a data back for the R8/R9, I believe they could have mimicked the principles of the medium format where you can change type of film at each photo.

Well, FWIW, as usual.

You Know Guys,

This kind of sounds like a company in its beginning death throes.

God, I hope I'm wrong.

We gotta get BMW to buy Leica!!
