Good day to all
Indeed, the Fujifilm bodies do great on R Lenses.
For pros : Only the sweet spot, the center is used
For cons : The multiplier of focal, a summicron 50 becomes a 80 in terms of
field of view. Hmmm
True that it may turn our nose away.
I have traveled with an heavy bag of leica R and now enjoy the lightness of a
fuji. But YMMV.
Have fun an happy Chinese new year.

I believe the Leica made R to L adaptor at $800.00 will allow metering in

not permit that.

Hi all,
In anticipation of the release of the
Lumix S1 & S1R cameras I was
hopeful that they'd have a "native"
lens mount for the R lenses, only to
be disappointed and frustrated yet
again.

Not only is the body expensive compared
to other full-frame options, but
to use the R lenses, one would have to
add an R to L mount for another
$800US.

It seems that most folks on this list
have moved on to other brands.
Perhaps that's the wisest option.
