Speaking of adaptors, is there a Leica M or LTM to EOS adaptor? I have some very fine LTM lenses I would like to use on the Canon DSLR.

Douglas Sharp showed:

A crop out of the centre of a shot with my, by now, absolute favourite
macro lens. Somehow the Macro-Elmarit 4/100mm just doesn't seem to
resolve as well as the Yashica 2,8/55, at least not on a Canon 20D.
Shot at f8 at closest focus (about 8 inches), I'm trying very hard to
get similar results from the Leica lens but as yet without much success.
RAW input, sharpened with focus magic at its lowest setting, cropped and
output as jpeg.

G'Mornin' Douglas!

Very nice, if dusty IIIG! For comparison, might we convince you to post, side by side, the results you're getting from the Macro Elmarit?

Secondly, is the Yashica in Contax-mount, with an adapter to the 20D?

Keep up the good work, as always!

Cheers!
