Thanks for your comments, I agree with what you say both the favorable
and the less so. Unfortunately two of the shots originally linked were
not taken with the Sigma SD14 as intended. I think it is easy to see
which ones they were ... taken with Pana G1 and Konica 135mm f2.5. The
135mm Konica is a nice piece of glass with lovely out of focus areas and
it can be sharp but at 270mm equivalent on four thirds hand held ...
I spent some time today playing with spot metering and exposure levels
with the Sigma and R glass. I'll post some results when I've sorted
through it all.
