My friend who owns a camera store said it is a rebadged Sony. It does look
very Sony-like. I hope he is wrong. He has just gotten back from some big
dealer thing in Florida. Maybe a Sony sensor? I was really hoping it would
be more Q-like than Sony-like. Not that I can afford it.

I had a chance to play with a Q for about a half hour in San Francisco the
other day while passing through. I really liked that camera. The look, the
feel, and the way it worked. They should have just put an interchangeable
mount on that one.

As a thin body, it will accept any SLR lens with adapter, and probably M as
well.

Now, since there are newly designed lenses, AF or not, the question is if
those lenses were designed as retrofocus lenses? And the thought in my mind
is if they are retrofocus designs, then the sensor was probably thought out
as a pretty standard sensor without the microlenses that you need with WA
Leica M lenses to retain IQ in the corners.

Which means that this body could be no better than a Sony A7 with adapter
and M WA lenses.......

Your R lenses will probably be fine.....

If you read the comments, the Leica-bashers are already off to a flying
start!

I must admit, though, it's not particularly pretty:-(

If it takes M and R lenses I might consider it.
