Yes, looking at l-camera-forum I see the zoom lenses have IS. I thought I
had posted a follow up comment on this but it appears to have got lost.

Agree that body based IS would have been better.

For me the key is how well this body performs with M lenses. If it can
match or even come close to the performance of M typ 240, I can see
selling my M9 and getting the SL to use with all my R and M lenses.
Otherwise this camera has no advantage over the A7 RII. At current prices
it is cheaper to have an M9 (secondhand) + a new A7 RII than a single SL.

Regarding the size, weight and price of the 24-90 zoom, the SL lens does
not fare badly when compared to to the last generation of R zoom lenses,
e.g. 28-90 , 35-70/2.8 or 70-180/2.8.
