Welcome aboard Roger.

Let's hope that Epson develops a camera that takes the Leica R lenses!

In the meantime, I suppose I'll never see the Voigtlander 40mm f2 in the R mount... May be I should buy a Nikon Fm3a....

G'Day.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Roger Verdesi. I am a retired prof. of music whose been taking pictures with Leica M2,M3 since the early 60s. Later on a got myself an SL2 and several lenses. I'm not a pro - strictly amateur - mostly family, vacation type pictures. I've been following this list with great interest and for some time and am very thankful for the expertise so manifest and the stunning pictures I've been downloading.
I was thumbing through the July copy of Shutterbug and came across an article on pg. 68 by David B. Brooks about the new Epson R-D1 Digital Rangefinder which is supposed to accept most Leica L and M- mount lenses. I may have missed it, but I haven't heard any mention of this on the list. I'd be curious to get your reactions to this development.
Again, thank you for a most interesting and valuable list.
Roger
