Dear Chris , I did that on my photo of the librarywall http://fotos.designing.be/Berlage%20perspectief/ The rest will be looked at later (and corrected hopefully... ;) ) Yours sincerely Linda ----- Original Message ----- From: Chris L To: leicareflex@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, November 26, 2008 5:07 PM Subject: [LRflex] Re: Impression of a Berlage app. Hi Linda, >What is in English a "barrel" distortion... >A lens distortion .... but what exactly (in Dutch "een vat") >Like a barrel of wine... >beer... More exactly, like a nice barrel of Gueuze... ;-) It's when a rectangle (for example a window, or, in your case, a bookcase) instead of being perfectly rectangular, has sides bending outwards (like a barrel). I asked about the lens, because that tends to be a pretty un-Leica-like characteristic. In Photoshop (CS series on...) you call the distortion correction under: Filter - Distort - Lens Correction You will see the "Remove distortion" slider... Have fun! :-) Chris
