I was killing a little time, at Deadman's Creek, taking casual portraits of the
barrel racers waiting their turns.
This one gal looked a bit on the older side, but I just assumed she'd been at
it, forever. Some have.
But, when she came back through the exit gate, having posted a reasonable, but
not a winning time, she exlaimed in a huge voice....
"Woohoo! One more thing of my bucket list!"
Turns out that despite her age, it was her first ever (and likely last ever)
race!
Had I known, I'd have made more of an effort to get some shots of her run.
