Hi, David! So far I've had no problem with critical focusing the lens
with static subjects, even wide open. The focus throw of the helical is
long enough, and I haven't noticed any focus shift large enough to put
the focus point out of "the zone." My own ability to focus the M
rangefinder is not as sure as it used to be, and following little kids
around is tough. But mostly, my own optics still good enough...
