You're right, Scott. There was some rain in the Phoenix area the week before we visited. I find the Ocotillo fascinating. Sort of like a cactus sometimes, sort of like a leafy, flowering vine at other times. It can look like a dried-out skeleton, and then come back to life and briefly sprout leaves the moment there's a bit of rain. An amazing adaptation, really. --Peter > Those Ocotillos have received some water recently. > > On Tue, Jan 31, 2012 at 00:02, Peter Klein <pklein [at] threshinc.com> wrote: > > > It's all about line and color. > > > > Spectrum: > > <http://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563@N04/6794419767/lightbox> > > > > Ocotillo: > > <http://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563@N04/6794419435/lightbox> > > > > Vista with Ocotillo: > > <http://www.flickr.com/photos/24844563@N04/6794419597/lightbox> > > > > M8, 35 and 50 Summicrons. > > > > --Peter ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/
