That’s great, Philippe! Was it a wonderful surprise for you when you off-loaded
from the camera to your computer, or did you notice the reflection before
taking the shot? Either way, its a wonderful image. Thank you.
Speaking of reviewing images after taking the shot, I was reading about the
Leica M models that have been released over the last few years that have no
screen on the back for image review. The current version, the M10-D, while not
having a screen does have the technology to instantly communicate with an
iPhone. But a version of Typ 262 had no such capability, which must’ve been the
closest “feel” to what we all used to experience with film and slides. I don’t
see many folks going back to a no-review platform, but its nice to know that
there’s still somebody at a camera company willing to provide that
“blind-effect”. Funny thing is that Leica charges MORE for bodies without a
screen than the same model that has a screen and extra functions… go figure. :)
